Whatever true destiny, Senshi only knows she plays a key role. As time has gone on, that hasn't become easier to accept. It's become harder, and there are times when she wants to reject the whole thing and pretend the world isn't shitty and she can just enjoy a "normal" life. But in the World of Darkness, it's impossible to pretend the world isn't shitty. The evidence piles up fast.
